Founded by Dr. Robbie Hamblin, Brookside Dental has served the Nampa community since 2002. In July 2022, Dr. Robbie’s son, Dr. Jared Hamblin, joined our team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Dr. Robbie and Dr. Jared are highly skilled, compassionate, and knowledgeable dentists who care for patients of all ages. Dr. Robbie Hamblin, DMD
Robbie Hamblin, DMD, is the owner of Brookside Dental in Nampa, Idaho, and a trusted dentist across the community. He and his team of dental professionals strive to welcome patients into a relaxing environment where they can improve their health and appearance with gentle treatments.
When Dr. Hamblin was 16-years-old, his uncle, a dentist, performed dental work on him that he found comfortable and unintimidating. At that point, he realized that he could make a difference in dentistry for patients like himself and take the anxiety out of everything dental––from cavity fillings to extensive procedures, like tooth extractions. He has advanced education in IV conscious sedation and serves as an evaluator for the state board.
Dr. Hamblin earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1995. After meeting his wife there, they moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend dental school at Oregon Health and Science University and earn their respective degrees.
Following the completion of his education, Dr. Hamblin spent three years of Army service in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, on a scholarship. After completing his service, he moved his family to Nampa, Idaho, to open his private practice in 1998.
He and his wife of 31 years have five children and four grandchildren. They love spending time as a family, playing basketball, biking, running, creating music, and paddleboarding. Dr. Robbie also plays piano and guitar, and he helps coach high school track and cross country.
Dr. Jared Hamblin, DDS
Dr. Jared Hamblin is one of our esteemed dentists and Dr. Robbie Hamblin's son. Dr. Jared earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University in May of 2021. Dr. Jared joined our practice in July of 2022.
Dr. Jared provides all general dentistry services, including general family dentistry, crowns and bridges, and cosmetic dentistry. He received training through his residency at Idaho Advanced Education in General Dentistry and has a particular interest in dental implants and sedation dentistry.
My favorite thing about dentistry is helping patients get the pain-free, healthy, esthetic smile they desire. I love the many different aspects of dentistry. I love working with people, I love the combination of science and artistry and working with my hands, and I love the opportunity to help patients improve their smiles and their health.
A food aficionado and outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Jared is happily married and the father of two young children, Grayson and Charlotte, and a fun-loving Cockapoo named Milo. He and his family often spend their time exploring the great outdoors or shooting hoops on the basketball court.
Amber
Hygienist
A graduate of Boise State and Apollo College, Amber is one of our friendly dental hygienists who enjoys meeting new people and hearing about her patients’ lives, hobbies, and adventures.
Amber has been a dental hygienist since 2007 and a valued member of our Brookside Dental team since 2018. As a hygienist, Amber provides preventive and periodontal therapies, takes x-rays, and helps patients improve their oral health with modern hygiene techniques.
Amber is married with a fur-baby and spends as much time outdoors as possible––especially when the sun is out!
Amanda
Hygienist
Amanda is one of Brookside Dental's skilled hygienists and a Carrington College graduate. She’s been a dental hygienist since 2017 and joined the Brookside Dental team in 2020.
As a hygienist, Amanda promotes dental health through preventive cleanings, periodontal therapy, oral health education, and more. Her favorite aspect of a patient's visit is making personal connections with them and celebrating improvements in their oral health and their personal lives.
Amanda is a wife and busy mother of three teenagers and a sassy Australian Shepherd. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and reading in her spare time.
Jennifer
Hygienist
One of our newest providers, Jennifer has been practicing oral health care clinically for the past 20 years. Jennifer’s approach to clinical care is honesty, accountability, integrity and a full body health approach. She is here to assist you in creating fundamental home care routines and motivating you for long term dental care. Jennifer enjoys working collaboratively with the Doctors, assistants, and business team to provide you the best overall positive dental experience.
Before graduating with her Associates of Applied Science degree, Jennifer assisted clinically in both pediatrics and general dentistry where she gained knowledge on multiple treatment options. She has experience working with all personality types and is aware of sensory and emotional needs, priding herself on individualized treatment needs with a caring, gentle approach.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys giving back to her community by hosting non-profit events for local charities as a youth and adult group fitness instructor, adventuring with her fiancé and 2 active boys, and relaxing with their 2 needy cats.
Amy
Dental Assistant
Amy began her work in healthcare with a degree in veterinary medicine. While in the field, she found herself gravitating towards the connection oral care has with the rest of the body. After 4.5 years of working in veterinary medicine she went back to school for dental assisting. She likes all the restorative procedures but particularly enjoys the sculpting and carving of composite fillings.
When not in the office, Amy fills her times with her hobbies including gardening, painting, DIY projects, and skiing.
Taylor
Dental Technician
Taylor has been in the dental field for a few years. At Brookside, Taylor takes care of all the hygienist and keeping things running smoothly for them. Taylor also takes care of a lot of the lab work throughout the day.
As a Nampa native you can find her spending time with her family or outdoors with her fiancé. Taylor also enjoys being crafty.
Taylor loves being apart of Brookside Dental because she truly believes that we have the best patients.
I have been going to Brookside Dental since I moved here over 20 years ago. Dr. Hamblin is a great dentist! He cares about your concerns and is sensitive to those having any fear of dental work.
